'last of the summer wine' in pennine yorkshire

This long running television comedy series is set in and around Holmfirth and neighbouring Jackson Bridge. For over 30 years viewers have tuned in to follow the antics of the delinquent, aging trio Compo, Foggy and Clegg in the stunning backdrop of the Holme Valley.

Step through the door of Compo's home to find his notorious sleepwear hanging to dry along with his upperiscope, an inflatable lady and other hilarious props from the show. Fans will, no doubt, recognise the collection of memorabilia and photography in the main displays, and can see film shows of outtakes from the series. The souvenir and gifts shop is always stocked with fudge, toffees, maps, mugs and other pleasant reminders of your trip.
