Established 15 years ago the Olive Branch is a family run business situated in the beautiful Colne Valley only 400 metres from the recently restored Huddersfield narrow canal. In a traditional 19th century roadside inn hidden is an informal restaurant with AA rosette award and contemporary bedrooms with a 4 star AA rating. Recommended for the last 13 years by "Which", "The Good Food Guide and Good Hotel Guide" and highly prestigious "Michelin Guides".

In a warren of comfy, intimate and snug rooms relax by the open fire with a warming glass of fine wine or sip champagne on the deck over the sunny garden and admire far-reaching views of Marsden Moor Estate.

Using the finest seafood, game and meats locally sourced where possible with beef from Harshead meats at Mossley and herbs from the garden. Chefs create both classic and modern dishes reflecting the seasons and their moods. The extensive wine list caters for every taste and pocket housing with some interesting finds Paul and Charlotte have made over the years on some of their wine tours.
