The gallery is a family business and there is always a warm welcome for customers and pottery enthusiasts. Visitors will find Jim (an elected fellow of the Craft Potters Association) well placed to discuss all aspcets of ceramics, the people processes and possible commissions. He is also the author of the book entitled 'Large Scale Ceramics'. His attached studio is open for viewing work in progress.

Jim Robinson's personal work includes unusual slab built vase and plate forms for domestic settings and large scale public commissions. His sculptural work can be seen in Holmfirth town centre (Civic Hall ceramic murals and the Victoria Bridge ceramic sculpture and stone seat). He also offers a range of colourful domestic ware.

Housed in an early 19th century barn with a unique queen beamed ceiling, the natural stone walls and wood floors of the gallery are a perfect foil for ceramics of all kinds, as well as paintings and other art works.
