River Wharfe

The River Wharfe is an ideal place for a walk or stroll and is popular for fly fishing. There are many walks to be enjoyed which take in the peaceful and beautiful scenery near the river.

Also not to be missed is the Manor House, the site of Roman remains of a fort built near the river. A portion of the west wall can still be seen at the site.
