Marsden
Marsden is a large village at the head of the Colne valley in West Yorkshire. It is about 8 miles west of Huddersfield, and lies in the hilly moorland and pastures of the South Pennines.
Sitting at the head of the valley Marsden is a popular location for visitors where you can wander alongside the water's edge and retrace ancient packhorse trails. But, don't be fooled, this is a thoroughly modern village, where contemporary arts and crafts site perfectly alongside country ales and village stores.
